Worship Style: Our music and liturgy try to blend the best of historic and contemporary worship. We focus on Jesus. He is the one who matters. Our gatherings express who we are as an eclectic, authentic, welcoming congregation, seeking to give the Lord our best in life and worship.
Preaching Style: The pastors at FBCO strive to teach in a way that is applicable to everyday life while pointing to Jesus. We believe in teaching to our head (how we think), heart (how we feel), and hands (how we live). Our typical pattern is to work through a book of the Bible. Dress: You will find all different styles of dress at FBCO, but most people wear casual clothes. Dress in whatever way you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
Childcare: FBCO is passionate about teaching the next generation about Jesus. We offer two different ministry for kids on Sunday mornings lead by trusted, background checked volunteers.
- Nursery and toddler care is provided for ages 0-5 years.
- Children’s Church for Kindergarten through fifth grade.
If you would rather have your children join you in the service, you are more than welcome to do so—we are totally fine with our service being a little bit noisy from little ones! Stop by the "kids cart" in the foyer for an in-service activity sheet.
Communion: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the last Sunday of every month. If you are a follower of Jesus, you are welcome to participate.
Giving: During our worship service, we do take an offering to give back to the Lord to bless the church and community. Do not feel obligated to give as a visitor.
Visitor Cards: There are visitor cards in the seats in each row. Please fill out a card and drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. Let us know if there is any way we can be praying for you.
